So, every Sunday, I go to a local game store and we play a tabletop rpg game that's kinda like D&D. It's called Savage Worlds. And while I could put in a paragraph of why I like this system better, I won't be -that- guy. Besides, this is the important bit.

This is the first chapter of a story involving my character from the game we played in the Star Trek setting. Now, before I have people saying that my writing isn't dead on with the info from the show, I already know that. I'm not a huge Trek person, it was just the setting for the story! This story actually came about from me creating a character that, for whatever reason, sparked my muse.

I may not completely finish the story, but it is something I'm working on in the mean time. There's not going to be a lot explained in the first chapter, and many parts may go unexplained since this story is from the character's point of view. I am simply posting this here for the enjoyment of the community.
