Offhandedly decided to just goof around with the brush tool in SAI instead of doing my usual style of lining and colouring, and somewhere along the way I started really enjoying myself. I can see why a lot of artists like to paint digitally sometimes, it's certainly very pressure-free and relaxing. It was just what I needed after the day I had yesterday. I'm also super proud of how her shoes came out because I can never manage to get hi-tops to look quite right when I draw them, so very happy about that.
This is my newest character, Kayla designed by KingBatman7 and xBamberz. She was my splurge this fortnight. She's a lemur/tabby mix, likes bubblegum, and (oddly enough) she and Fara don't get along too well despite having a lot of common interests. I'm still working on her other profile and personality info.

SWIFT MAY YOUR LEARNING AND IMPROVEMENT BE~!!
Haha, I'm just a fast learner, and drawing as often as you can is certainly a huge factor that a lot of people don't consider! (Here's an example of when I first started to draw digitally and was drawing almost every day for several months >> http://redskinniesandfangs.devianta.....uple-206862871 )
So my advice is to draw every day, try new things, redline a pose, reference THE SHIT out of everything, watch a bunch of speedpaints/tutorials, and just have fun! Sometimes "goofing off" can lead to some good results, or can be a really great learning opportunity~ uwu
