This is the Keyblade of Nem, it's called "Always With You" From one of my favorite Kingdom Hearts Quotes: "Don't ever forget, wherever you go, I'm always with you"
It's an inspiring quote and it drives me with the bonds and friendships I made. The reason I find it fits Nem is that through the connection he has made to so many hearts, he is always with them, no matter what they are going through, they are never alone and in turn, because of all the connections his heart has made, he is never alone and has so many people rooting for him.
It's based on a katana (which is my favorite weapon) and the teeth are three angelic wings, the guard is another set of two wings as well, with the keychain being the classic KH Symbols of the Crown and Heart, along with a pair of angel wings. A little reference there too, seven wings, seven lights. There is also a lot of interpretation to the weapon and it's symbology. The crown could reflect on him being a keyblade master or because it's on the heart, it could mean he's the master of his own heart or like the heart being gold could represent it being filled with Light? Stuff like that I find fascinating
I feel a central theme to Nem is Light and Angels and I wanted to reflect that on his keyblade, it's mostly white to contrast to his mostly black outfit and it speaks a lot about him. He has a strong affinity for Light so I imagine most of his attacks are Light-Based. I'm really happy with how this turned out and I'm hoping to include it in many artworks ^_^
