So I decided to make a comic following "My Son." Originally I was thinking about making just a series of pictures like I did with "Eleanor and Penny," but I couldn't think of a way to do what I wanted to do without dialogue. This comic is scheduled to be 10 pages long, counting "My Son" as page 1. That may change as I work more on it, but I think I've got a solid script right now.
The image is bigger than I usually like because the text was hard to read at smaller sizes. I usually try to keep the height below 768 because that's my resolution, but it's really kind of arbitrary and with a comic it's okay if you have to scroll down.
Drawing this was a lot easier than I expected it to be. I'm not using a lot of circles and sketching to do the bodies like I normally do, I'm just freehanding it mostly. I wanna be a little more lenient with myself on the art just because I have to draw several characters per page instead of my usual one or two. Paradoxically, excluding the mother in panel 3, I'm very pleased with the art. That's the way it is sometimes though.
