I see this plush at the mall, and think to myself "this would make an awesome fursuit"
Turns out it's Mega Blaziken from Pokémon.
4 weeks later and this is the result.
He has claws from DVC, mega stompy feet, moving jaw and a padded chest for added bulk (like I really need added bulk!)
I was also convinced by
to enter him in the cosplay construction contest at Ichibancon 2017. I won 3rd place in the beginners category.
Why beginner? Because I've never won an award for my suits before or entered one in competition.
Typically I do not make copy written characters. I did this because it's for my own use, which I believe is lawfully permitted as fan art.

I was truly excited to see this suit in person a very nice color selection, I was afraid I had miss the opportunity to see this one due to the time frame you had planed, but you call out to me with excitement with your new suit on, I was so happy to see you & we gave each other very big hugs of a wonderful friendship we share
i'm glad the photoshoot was rescheduled & didn't have to miss out on a opportunity for more exposure of suits you have I know you take great pride & determination to what you do in the community of the furry world inside & out

You are more than welcome.. Admittedly, as you can see, I have gotten to know more people over the years since that first FWA we spent together. I appreciate your understanding when we get stopped by someone wanting to talk, or take a photo. You will always be my friend.
