OKAY SO HERES WHERE I EXPLAIN ALL THE CRAZY SHIT I WAS THINKING ABOTU FOR THIS. its technically some crazy alternate universe fantasy shit but. i was thinking like, what if they had a matching soulmate, made specifically for them (and of course its gotta be real hard to find them, so most of them dont conform to this-) but what if the way to tell who their soulmate was, was if say sea monkey A's antennae match sea monkey B's eyes, and B's antennae match A's eyes perfectly? so theyre perfect color match between their eyes and antennae. so Yes of course, Sivney and Mika were literally made for each other. Mika doesnt notice that Sivneys eyes match his antennae until like..... a year or two after he's known sivney, and when he realizes that his own eyes match Sivneys Antennae, he doesnt work up the courage to show him until another whole entire year later.

Mika covers his eyes mostly because hes totally embarrassed about his eyes, not just the color but i was thinking like what if hes got like. weird scars on his eyelids or freckles or SMTH.. but he always has his eyes covered, so even after they find out their soulmates, he still doesnt pin his hair back,s o people are pretty much non the wiser that their soulmates.

ALSO NOTE- mika has a british accent, and Sivney has a Scottish accent.
