Lady Nelson and Adipose City are (C) Psion 2017
So Orionglacion wanted to take a swing at one of my Adipose City characters and at the time he asked, we were still neck deep in the insurrection between Aristo and his O'Maddy's franchise so I asked if he was interested in giving Lady Nelson a try.
Lady Nelson, Knight Captain of the Round Knights. A British vixen born in the incorporated aristocracy of Aristo, Fenice Nelson grew up to be a company girl through and through. Family connections saw her granted a commission and command within the company security forces yet her skill at marksmanship and a previously unrealized talent for leadership that ensured she gain the respect of those under her.
Posh and proper, Nelson resents the notion that her family ties or her considerable "forward assets" had gotten her anything in the company and constantly strives to demonstrate that her success is entirely her own. Can be a bit snooty but still maintains strong notions of honor and chivalry.
Opinions on major events in the setting as of "Two Birds, One Stone":
Hamburg- After confronting freelance medic Rebecca Stone about rumored atrocities carried out by the PhysEd Consortium in an abandoned asylum in Germany, Nelson is sympathetic to the escapees that try to live quietly in Adipose City and looks with dread to the possibly of her company ordering her to disregard the quiet pact between the corps and the escapees.
Genetic Broiled Chicken: When we last left her in "Two Birds, One Stone", Nelson was still scrambling to collect information on the mysterious entity responsible for GBC and the genetically engineered "dino-chickens" that had been plaguing corporations across North America. While a bit behind compared to her peers in other corporations, she cannot shake the feeling that something truly dark (or fowl if you insist) is afoot.
O'Maddy's: The insurrection caused by a former Irish pub franchise has been the cause of much consternation for Lady Nelson and her fellow knights. While not entirely privy to what caused the franchise to be shut down in the first place, Nelson would find "Queen Issy"'s attempt at an incorporated coup almost adorable if it hadn't started attracting the attention of other corporations eager to exploit the situation...
