We here at Iron Hand Military Industries recognize the needs of the freelancer, sometime-bounty-hunter, and under-armed soldier. Overly complex or underpowered pistols just won’t do in important situations; which is why we designed our signature piece, the Iron Hand .50. A high powered pistol with generous clip, long barrel, crisp/smooth action, and as few moving parts as possible. heh thanks, I am working on a shotgun and an assault rifle atm as well. As I get better with photoshop I will learn to color, shade etc. but for now just the ink will do. I hope I can make a fantasy weapons locker of some sort and have peoples anthro's "order" weapons from Iron Hand for RP's or just for fun.
I kinda' made it up. The guns is modeled after the real life Desert Eagle .50 caliber pistol from Isralie Military Industries (IMI). It is a very famous gun but .50 pistols are so big and heavy and impracticale that they don't really have a place in real combat situations. I tweaked it so there is mostly aluminum in the frame making it light enough to handel and I made up some of the add-ons (Two-Stage laser sighting is my idea and does not exist). Beyond this I just used real things to make it seem more realistic (i.e. .357, .41, etc. are all real bullet sizes). I take ideas from games, movies, and real life and then twist 'em all toghether and add a bunch of my own stuff I guess.
Hey Thanks! In all sincerity I know very little about modern weaponry, I just looked up a bunch of different bullet styles and put 'em all in there. The ceramic composite idea I got from Shadowrun, the two-stage laser sighting is my own idea, and ... ya that is pretty much how it all went. Borrow this, steal that, make up the other thing. I will get rid of the useless ammo style and I hope you give the shotgun and the automatic I am workin on a once over (if I ever get back to it that is >.<).
