I've been on a monkey kick recently.. ever since I've fallen madly in love with physical anthropology and am possibly considering the prospect of wanting to go to grad school to make a career of studying wild primates, I can't get enough!!

This squirrel monkey, however, was inspired from a bag of Trader Joe's Roasted Plantain Chips (DON'T LAUGH). Seriously, I was in the store the other day and I subconsciously realized that I reached for the bag before I even knew what it was because it had squirrel monkeys on it. Once I realized they were plantain chips (and oh how I love plantains!) I tossed them in my basket and gladly nommed them when I got home.
