Help support Vore Tournament 2.0 on Patreon
Normally I'm not one to beg for more money... which to be fair, I'm not doing now either. I am just trying to push forward with something that, even to my own surprise, has kicked off quite a bit during the last few months: Thanks to a dozen Patreon supporters (two in particular), I've now reached a total of over $200 in pledges, dedicated to Vore Tournament as well as my Blender animations. This support made it a lot easier and more motivating to continue development on the game... with the recent months seeing several new features and bug fixes, as well as a whole new set of player models summing up to a total of 30 playable characters, alongside support for making the game more accessible to players who have a hard time setting up the development tools to compile it themselves.
The current support is already helping me a lot, but it's barely half of what what I need to keep us alive (myself and my mother). At this day, Patreon is the only source of income we have that's relatively constant... the rest is family and friends helping us out, which is not something that will go on forever. If I am to live off animation and game development alone, I need to ultimately reach the $500 milestone. Seeing how there are people interested in what I do, who helped me in getting halfway there, I dare to hope this may just happen during the course of 2017.
If you like VT 2.0 or my other works, please consider supporting me on Patreon! If you can't or wish not to, please at least spread the word about the project and encourage others to do so! I plan to add a lot of interesting new features in the coming months... and with the original content being almost ported from the old game, I may even dream of an official release sometime this year (no promises however). For this to happen and things to move forth however, I need your support. Thank you to everyone who has been interested so far.

this was not meant to be malicious, mind you, but you state that patreon is your only stable source of income correct?
your project is NSFW, meaning you SHOULD be an adult, and your project currently runs, meaning your are able of mind.
I have been develoiping my project completely on my own, hwile also keeping a job to take care of myself and my family, what is stopping you?

The truth in a nutshell is, I'm not in a good mental state for a job. I know that for people who really think I should be having one, it sounds like a lame excuse... it is what it is though. Also I do plan to have a job for someone I know later on, so an arguably distant plan for that exists... for now however, Patreon seems to be going quite well, so it feels like no harm to go in its direction. I am grateful that I have even this for now, and would like to stick to what I have.
The only thing I need that I can't find or make on my own in the sound department, is voice acting for proper character voicing. Which I worry will be a problem, granted I'll need 15 different voice sets, which will have to be made by authors agreeing to release them under a free license exclusively (GPL compatible).
Nope... fully open to the public! Follow the instructions on https://gitlab.com/voretournament/data_voretournament You need the GIT cloning tool, but can now choose between compiling other components or using official builds if not. The new VT is a mod that runs on top of vanilla Xonotic, so make sure stock Xon from GIT is working well first.
I no longer use Windows, and do my GIT checkouts through the Linux console mostly. So sadly I can't test this for myself and offer much help here, though someone out there must know. That screenshot doesn't make much sense to me either... is it not finding the installed GIT program?
