(Catching up with my uploads! My art is signed with the date it was drawn on, if you care about that.)
Hey any of you remember that Third Crusades assassin I made who was kinda a self-insert but also kinda not? Layla Misleh? Yeah, well I finally got around to making my actual Assassin’s Creed self-insert, who is the modern-day decendant of whatever other half-self-inserts I make for different time periods.
I was going to use a white/dark blue color scheme for her, but instead I ended up using AC2′s Venetian Azure colors. Or y’know, as close to them as I could get. Color-picking from pics of Ezio’s model is not easy… I don’t feel like writing a super fancy profile right now, so read on for some basic and trivia info about her.
-Her name is the usual Nyx Blythe, no middle name. She’s 20 (aged up for ship purposes) but is still the 5′1 she was at when she was 18. She’ll never give a straight answer about her weight. Ever.
-She was born into the Assassins, though she was given the choice by her mother to walk away. After meeting Desmond’s father once, she decided that the Assassin/Templar war was something too big for her to walk away from.
-She tried a lot of ways to help the Assassins, but found that desk work/tech support is a bit more her thing. She can’t really do the parkour, or the intense fighting. She does occassionally hit the streets to collect information, though.
-She’s a nervous mess. She panics so easily it’s not funny. In retrospect, this makes her a very shitty assassin, but she somehow manages. She also has a severe fear of people, which is another reason why desk work is perfect.
-Despite her fear of people, she knows how to work them. She’s spent a lot of her time studying people because she has no idea how social interactions work. So she knows what works and what doesn’t when she wants something.
-She’s laid claim to Shaun. Neither of them will officially say that they’re dating, but you can tell there’s something more than teammates/friends going on there. Especially when they make the same shitty joke at the same time…
-Speaking of shitty jokes, she’s a sarcastic little shit, which is why Shaun likes her. Sometimes Rebecca can’t tell who wrote what database entry.
-Her desk is a wreck. It’s covered in cords, headphones, papers, sketchbooks, pens, empty coffee/tea cups, and probably some pain killers in worn-out prescription bottles.
-Her heritage is English, Irish, German, Dutch, and Finnish. So I’ll likely make ancestor’s for her of those. As well as whatever other eras the games cover. Which is likely a lot…
-Sometimes she wishes her body was more athletic so she could actually help with field work, but she knows that someone has to do the desk/tech work. Might as well be her, right?
