Bradley ventured into the Elwynn Forest in search for treasure. He found a Riverpaw Gnoll camp near the river that separates Elwynn from Westfall. There was a lone Riverpaw Gnoll who was kicked out of the clan for not wanting to fight humans, thinking he is a coward. Bradley and the gnoll met each other. They both started our being aggressive toward each other, but then they somehow started to like each other and accepting each other for who they are, un-like the gnoll's old clan. Bradley and the gnoll quickly became the best of friends.

One day the gnoll saw a cart full of Stormwind supplies and was interested in what was in it. He got caught by a couple of Stormwind guards and they were going to take him to the dungeon in the middle of the city. Bradley saw what was going on and ran to help the gnoll. He tried to explain that the gnoll wasn't trying to steal and tried to defend his new gnoll friend from the guards. The guard thought Bradley was a traitor for being one of them (humans) helping a Riverpaw Gnoll. They handcuffed Bradley and the gnoll together, with the cuffs being tight on their wrists.

Before the guards could grab Bradley and the gnoll, they both ran away into Elwynn Forest with the guards chasing after them. Bradley and the gnoll managed to lose the guards and ran to the far eastern part of Elwynn Forest. They climbed over the mountains to avoid Lakeridge as they made it to the Redridge Canyons where they stayed hidden. Bradley and the gnoll are handcuffed together forever since they don't have a handcuff key, so they're spending the rest of their lives hiding and being stuck together.
