Bio: Bellanette is a clumsy, sweet, and sometimes intimidating Mismagius. She comes from Kalos, sporting a slight Kalosian accent, though it has faded over time. She’s quite the lovely lady, and quite popular in Sonnige city for her looks and hard working attitude.

Her last name is a combination of 'Mort' and 'Rose', pronounced 'Mort-Ro-say' meaning 'Deathrose'

She is a simple Mismagius at heart. Same colours, same pink gems, same basic witchy outfit.
Her dress however is sort of part of her body. Her arm sleeves still remain when she’s naked, and gaining her main outfit is a simple ghostly fade in. Just kind of... poof! It’s weird, and she knows it.
She can alter how long her dress is, usually changing it to a skirt in the hotter seasons, or she can just completely remove it if she wants to wear something else. At least she isn’t tied to the witchy look, and likes to wear more casual clothes.

Bellanette has long, soft hair and is always wearing lipstick and eyeshadow. Her hat has two appearances as well. One is more basic, while the other has a fluffier top to it.

She has small mitten like hands, no thumbs or fingers. Always knocking things over and breaking things, due to how impractical her hands are, as well as just her luck. Despite this, she’s a very, very hard worker.

At times she can be a bit too friendly, and sometimes ends up annoying others with her strong positivity. Bellanette is, however, one of the sweetest Mismagius you'll ever meet. She’s here to make sure you’re happy and that she’s doing her best for you.
Bellanette adores small Pokemon. She has a habit of scooping them up into hugs, even if she doesn't know them- you can imagine how that goes down for some folk.

Bellanette loves books, and is usually found around the library, though she isn't the quietest there. She's also heavily into fashion and make-up, a hobby she obtained along with her younger sister Mélanie, a Gourgeist . The two would look through magazines together endlessly, and practice on each other too.

She's a busy bee who does a lot of work. She runs a small store, making little sculptures, selling rare stones, making spell tags and other spooky items to sell. She specializes in creating small mesh like effigies. While her small store doesn’t get too much attention, her bathhouse sure does. She owns and runs it mostly by herself, but gets help from her elder sister Minoir, a Gengar. The bathhouse is their main source of income. Minoir wishes she worked elsewhere however.

She also brews potions in the back room of her small store. Most are simple and are used for healing purposes, though she does do a small bit of black market potion brewing too- most of those potions are... weird to say the least. An example of one transforming you into the inner fairy type you were born to be- hilarious if I do say so myself.
And last but not least- she’s a fashion model in her spare time, mostly for magazines. She gained a lot of publicity from this and it helped her other jobs to get a boost too.

As you can probably assume- she is usually tired and doesn’t have time to do much else. She can get very cranky and sensitive at these low points. She cherishes the time off that she does get, and you can bet she’s drinking a lot of coffee.

When she’s not working, you might find her at the beach, sunbathing and enjoying a book, or hanging out with friends.

Like Lar’s obsession with fairy types- Bellanette has a thing for dark type pokemon.

Prior Life, Homes and Travelling:
The Mortrosé's are a large family of high-class ghost Pokémon living in Kalos, secluded in a forest mansion that’s very well hidden. Bellanette grew up with her many sisters and brothers in a large mansion. Her mother and father both see her as their star, their 'perfect child to lead the family name into the future'.
Her middle name, 'Effigie' is from an old ancestor who, like her, was a Mismagius in the families’ days of old.

She went to an all-girls school that was top in Kalos where she earned her reputation as a star child. As she grew older, and saw the struggles between her siblings and mother, she decided it was time to get away and work on her own future.
The Mortrosé’s you see have a tradition- where the eldest daughter or first Gengar daughter must marry into another high class family. Instead of adopting the males surname however, the male adopts the Mortrosé’s. During the wedding, the mother passes on the Death Rose pendant to the Bride.

Minoir- who was destined to go through with her mother’s tradition, wanted none of it. And when they looked to Bellanette to take her place and give up everything she worked towards- it was a huge no. Bellanette, Minoir and Mélanie all end up leaving. They don’t visit home very often now as tensions remain high- more so with Minoir and their mother.

Bellanette went on to own a cottage house deep within a forest somewhere in Kalos- far away from their family, before giving the ownership to her sister Mélanie. Shortly after Bellanette and Minoir moved to Luani Island, Sonnige city.
She goes back to the cottage for holidays away to tend to the garden with her sisters.

They currently live in a very small house attached to the bathhouse she owns. The corridors are extremely narrow and their living space can’t hold more than 5 people. Bellanette would love a bigger house, but being right beside work is important to her to keep up the busy flow. She’s been eyeing a nice house up in the hills of Sonnige for quite some time...

Scary Face: Mismagius cannot learn scary face naturally, however Bellanette seems to have gotten the move through the many Gengar's that have been in her families bloodline. It might be a move she can use at will, but whenever she's extremely angry, upset or stressed, her face turns to a frightening image. This is the only time you’ll hear her swear as well!

Relationships:
. It’s a given that she’s pretty close to her sisters, Minoir and Mélanie. She’s always gotten along better with Mélanie, growing up together with mostly the same interests. On the other hand she gets into verbal fights with Minoir often, so there’s some conflict between them, despite living together.

. The rest of her family is a bit of a mystery. She rarely speaks of her other brothers and sisters. She talks quite highly of their father, a Dusknoir. She sometimes calls her mother, but their once strong bond has faded over time.

. She’s quite close to Lar, being one of the first Sonnige citizens to befriend him. After a hilarious event where one of her potions turned him into an Igglybuff, he’d end up helping her out often and joking about it a lot.

. Bellanette took Genevieve in to live with her and Minoir in their small house. They’re also quite close- Genevieve has a crush on Bellanette.

. She dated a Grimmsnarl named Darrell. They joined businesses and helped each other out financially. It was true love- until Bellanette’s mother intervened and refused for such a relationship to happen. This would be the final breaking point for Bella and her mother. Not long after Darrell would break ties and head back to Galar, not without leaving Bella his old business to keep or sell, making sure she wasn’t losing anything. They’re still on good terms but they haven’t seen each other in years.

. Bellanette took an interest in Darkria, trying her best to befriend her. Maybe it’s because she’s a dark type, or that she’s a female clone of Lar- sorta. The two actually get along decently- Bellanette likes how flirty and lewd Darkria can be towards her.

. She sees Bayuki as a friend, and yet seems oblivious to the Bayleef’s crush on Lar. The two don’t always get along however. A few more physical fights have broken out between them. Despite their struggles, Bella gets along very well with Mekori, Bayuki’s mother.

. Bellaria visits Bellanette quite often. Bellaria enjoys going to Bellanette’s bathhouse for a warm soak. Sometimes they share a bath together! Maybe they’re close due to their names being so close. Bella and Bella!

. Bellanette takes in Oli & Giza to wash them after their rampages around the island- for FREE! She also is trying her best to teach the two to become more proper citizens, instead of the feral Zweilous that they are. She almost sees them as a big, cuddly pet!

. Bellanette knows a lot about Chiyer and feels pretty bad for him. She spends a lot of time with him, trying to keep his mood up and drag him around to different events to keep his life more entertaining. In turn Chiyer looks up to her as one of the most dedicated workaholics he’s ever seen. He also offers to help her out often- if not just to get out of social gatherings or his own work place.

. While Bellanette doesn’t really know Lar’s group of male friends outside of Chiyer, she gets along with Vanity a lot.

. She’s currently dating a Bisharp named Brian~

Updated bio, she's got a lot more info to her now. A lot of my older characters are getting bio updates.
Potentially might draw some more outfits for her but honestly there's only two I can think of that are important xD
