Day 30: Evil Team

“Trust me — children would all be much happier if they’d only listen to the adults around them.”

I would never expect to like Lusamine in the villain spot as I actually did. I mean, it was pretty obvious even before the games were released that there was something very wrong about her. As the story progresses we get to see more and more of her real face, but not only she’s very pretty design wise - and her battle theme is undoubtely awesome - I actually liked the way things developed.

Basically, it’s the development I wish Lysandre from XY could’ve had… Due to poor plot writing his real intentions and motives weren’t as clear as they should have been, even though his character had lots of potential. Lusamine had such potential, and in my opinion it worked out well.

I considered drawing Team Aqua with Team Skull since I can’t decide between those two which one is my favorite team. Team Skull plays its part in this generation as comic relief, but those designs are terrific! Also all the posing, man. So cool. Who doesn’t like Team Skull is such a numskull!

But since Lusamine got herself the position of my favorite villain, she’s here representing Aether Foundation!
