a doodle of xikkz i’ve been working on and off with

it’s not super big or fancy or anything, just a for funs doodle with some color thrown on

for those not in the know about xikkz:

Xikkz is a thing called a Nearht, they’re a species of weird humanoid critters from my headworld. They tend to have a lot of colors, and the average ones have plenty of feathers. They live in forests and jungles, and are a tree-dwelling species. They live in clans, usually fairly large ones. On average, they are slightly bigger than the human, but they have more of a wider range of heights than humans do. They use their talons and tails for tree climbing, and their ultimate defense, if they have no escape from danger, is letting off a deafening screech. Xikkz is equipped with this, like any average Nearht is.

Xikkz in particular is several things: he is the lowest ranking member of his clan, and he’s the only Nearht that can communicate with humans, Ardumii, and Veenziinas Dragons. Because of his low standing in his clan, he tends to drift away, and is often living in Paul’s house with him, Bob, and Tellur. Xikkz is allowed to come and go as he pleases, and has been taught very basic English. He’s friendly, but flighty. He avoids conflicts, and prefers to run and hide. But he’s fairly nice, for a weirdo. :)
