"Sinthall twisted the small object between his forefingers, the last light of dusk glinting off its smooth edges. He had searched for its origin since the sun had risen this morning, and now the light had almost disappeared... But he could not find it in his heart to stop looking. Whatever it was, something intelligent had owned it, this he knew for sure. After years of isolation in his tundra home he pressed forward, yearning for companionship and searching for any sign of what sort of creature might have left the strange artifact behind."
My part of a trade with the lovely Sinthall, who has been exceedingly patient with me in the past year to get this done! Sinthall resurfaced a resin base for me, and turned it into this lovely creature, my Khajiit Raine. I told him I'd match him hour per hour in work, and due to the amount of detail and care he put into her construction, I felt like doing him something large and detailed in return. It was so bid when I went home for an appointment earlier on this week, I had to stay there and work on it because I don't have a large enough table at my apartment to accommodate this kind of work yet!
The scan really does not do this any justice. It's 16x20 with the actual drawing itself being about 11.5"x15". All of the color was done in marker/ink and colored pencil.
Fairly proud of this, I've come a long ways in the past 6 1/2 years since I've been working with markers!
Enjoy!
