So let me just state right now; Winter is the worst time of year for me.
I'm always so unmotivated, I lock myself in my room most days when I'm not working, I get lazy, I get tired, and in worst cases I get depressed. I really don't enjoy how dark it gets so early in the day in Winter, I may be a night-owl but seeing the sun set at 3PM just makes me sad... It's always so cold and the earth is practically dirt and dead.
The Winter of 2013/2014 was probably the worst one I ever had as well, it was the most difficult time of my life. Heartbroken, depressed, confused, empty, and alone. Winter is just not a good time of year for me...
But, there are a few things about Winter that I love. And one is the snow. I know not everyone can experience it depending on where you live, but it truly is a beautiful sight... I remember being in a snow storm one year outside in the woods as the sun was setting while a very emotional song was playing in my headphones. It was so magical to me... I know the snow can become a pain in the ass when there is so much and plans get cancelled, you get stuck inside, and you have to shovel, ugh lol BUT I still try and appreciate the beauty of it...
