Syrus, not having been born into the bloodline, is the last to fully succumb to the will of Mephisto. Originally, the young elf-blooded sought to break the curse that bound them all to Mephisto (since, at the time, the Nekros held claim of half of his soul).... all to keep Seras, his mentor and another of clan Wytcher, and loved ones safe....
