I'm not sure if it's the hair style but;
Did you try drawing her younger than normal? She really comes off as a teen in this. More carefree, innocent, casual.

I think it's the softer face that makes it look that way... Maybe... I wasn't going for that but I do think her face turned out rather well... :)
