Haven't drawn anything of my character in a while, so here we are.
The way I see it, if some furs can be 80 stories tall, or 12 mm short, or have nine tails, I can have enhanced strength. I'm a fan of Parasite Eve, so the way I'd rationalize the strength is mitochondrial control. The power to send my mitochondria into overdrive. The downside is that the burst of strength wouldn't last long, and I'd be burnt out (litterally have burnt muscle tissue) and physically sick after doing something like this. Not exactly hard science, but neat stuff in my mind at least.
Yeah, I know the Humvee isn't accurate. I tried. :)

Well, you could always just have him glanding wardrugs into his system. If we're going the bioengineered or bioenhanced route... As well, one could think of such things as skeletal reinforcement (or even partial replacement with nanotech-deposited semi-porous diamondoid), as well as muscular rebuilds utilizing variant muscle tissue tailored to not be rejected...
Do pardon me, just showing my adoration and love of transhumanism. ^_^
Love,
Mika

Nah, the big problem is the standard one with super-strength lifting: If you tried to pick up a truck like that, what would happen is that the grill would be torn off.
Body issues can be handwaved as coming with the superstrength, (it's one of the reasons superstrength almost always means brick).

Cool. I'm really diggin' the action, but I'm still going to be a butt. Like, how come the truck is facing that way? I don't know about you, but even with supah-dupah strength It'd be pretty hard to pick up a humvee that is behind you.
Also crush marks around those hands. That would emphasize some weight to the vehicle and make it look REALLY freakin' cool.

well, a Humvee ain't no accurate off-roader anyway, so there. :)
love the angle, love the action and your enraged expression.
good reasoning too. I would add an enhanced energy consumption to it, though, like eating up all reserves while using it, to leave you exhausted, burnt, overheating and hungry as hell after the action. :)

Not bad, good work on the fabric.. and now that you mention it, you don't actually *need* mitochondrial control.
Given your character, a combination of the hemo and myo-globin count could be similar to either a dolphins or lizards: Dolphins have easily 6 times the muscle tensile strength of humans for the same mass, due to the differential in their chemical makeup. I can't begin to guess how a dragon might be, though those flight muscles would be highly developed in the pectoral region.
As well, if you practice martial arts, each time you punch something *hard* it works the bones in your limbs the same as you muscles: they break in microfractures, then rebuild stronger, resulting, in advanced cases, in bones literally stronger then rebar-reinforced concrete. Combine that with a surge of adrenaline and endorphins, and you wouldn't need mitochondrial manipulation. Case in point, my mate, when angry, has on a couple occassions punched through a 2x4 without injury to himself beyond some mild scratches. I think it's entirely plausible you could achieve that strength with good old discipline and gumption combined with training and mental focus.
Then again, if you want to go PE, feel free to go pyrokinetic on me for overanalyzing:P
Overanalyzation isn't a bad thing at times:) And true, unless the old tales are true about dragons having a universal genospore, which can infect pretty much any other viable zygote and make an implantible embryo:)
Case in point, my Half Silver Dragon, half morphic Orca, Koral-rath. I really think any dragon with the motivation can impregnate almost any female of a species that is even mildly alike, be it mammal, reptile, avian, etc.
That is realy awsome, the humvee is actualy pretty accurate, the only thing I noticed right away was the air cleaner/snorkel on the passenger side is missing. Its ususaly a square cap on the far right side of the hood right infront of the window, but in desert storm they had round air filters or snorkels instead.
As for the incredible/enhanced strength, there have been cases of average people lifting and throwing cars simply because they are extremely hopped up on adrenaline. These are fairly big people to begin with though.
Lifting a humvee which is around three tons would be an impossible feat for any human, but for a character that isn't human and is on a crazy adrenaline high, they'd probably be able to do it.
