I kinda like Fairy Tail as an anime.

It's pretty good. It's formulaic but it still manages to keep me interested and has progressively gotten better with each episode. I especially like the idea of having Guilds of magicians who do work for payment and daily life... but occasionally they end up having to save the world on the side. Boomer Express is actually kinda like that in my mind.

The guild names they come up with are pretty interesting too. "Fairy Tail", the main characters' guild, is named as such because of it's koan like nature. Does a fairy have a tail? There aren't any fairies in the world to know for sure. The same goes for "Mermaid Heel" and "Blue Pegasus". Does a mermaid have heels? Are Pegasi blue?

Do dragons sing?

I am striking out on my own. I'm not the type to just join any other heroes' guild. I want to found one and raise it and find others who are willing to follow me and help me take my magic... my Art, and make the world a better place through Art and Animation. So I thought I'd start by coming up with a prototype of a logo.

My art and my magic, my world and my life, is Dragon Song.

It's gonna take more than just a little doodle late at night to encapsulate that though, so here's the first draft scribbled while watching several Fairy Tail anime episodes tonight. Please let me know what you think.
