Two sides of a coin; The Heartful and The Mindful
Now y'all prolly dunno about a little change of pace in my commissions with 
huskeeburn21 in terms of my last slot being 'traded off' to my bestie 
akashiduela for a lowly reason of in-game credits; Final Fantasy Brave Exvius that didn't even succeed.
This was supposed to be a Christmas thing between me and my best friend but the artist went through some shit so of course it's only humanly for us to understand and let him take his time.
It's now done and finished but it still screams a Christmas-y mood/feel to it so I rounded up a little scene that's Christmas-y to fit it nonetheless.
For the past few months me and my bestie had some.. very passive and discreet issues(Aside from him flaking on me for a certain playful RP for a month. xD).

From a distance the whole neighborhood was white with little lights glimmering through the windows of the houses; A blizzard hit right on Christmas eve, it was both a blessing and a curse as it forced people to stay at home but spend the time inside with their families and loved ones. Though in the midst of the frigid, snowy winds that blew, headlights pierced through, a car pulling over into a garage while its door slowly closed shut after it.
“Gah, fucking snow. Sorry for crashing at your place tonight, ‘Kash.” Alf uttered with a displeased grunt the moment the door of the passenger seat opened, the fluffy demon wasting no time to get out and rub his gloved hands together. “It’s okay, bestie, you know I love having you company.” Akashi just responded with a bland tone when he followed and moved into his house. The two were from a Christmas party at that night, dressed up as anything they could find and be; Mostly fantasy-based that is. Alf was dressed as his favorite unknown amalgamation from a famous manga Elias Ainsworth while Akashi got creative with his costume that went very well with his exotic fairy dragon self and heritage.
“Are you sure Slyger is fine with you not being with him though?” Akashi added as he opened the lights in the house, the fluffy demon following slowly, removing his shoes, setting them aside near the wall and coatrack. “Yeah he’ll be fine. I’ll deal with him otherwise.” Alf responded with a reassuring nod, at least, to himself, since he can see how distant the fae was in trying to make the place look good. “Okay.” Akashi responded. Alf expected a.. lengthier response, but he obviously didn’t get it. “Hmm..” He discreetly hummed and began to remove his costume. He folds his coat neatly at the bar in the kitchen. “I’m gonna go to bed now.” Akashi suddenly uttered, Alf’s ears perked and slowly followed Akashi to his bedroom. “..Hey Kashi.” Alf said, trying to engage but he then sees the fae dragon having difficulty reaching back to undo some binds and buttons to his costume. Alf could only chuckle and assist the large dragon in undoing the back. He continues without needing the dragon to say anything after walking right up to him. “I’m sorry I’ve been such a dick with you the past few.. uh.. weeks or months.” Alf continued.
He had been faking being a complete douche bag at his own best friend, in blind hopes of his best friend lashing back at him, learning how to fight back or at least not let himself be used or abused as the dragon had been from past relationships and friendships with a lot of people that ‘used’ the dragon’s kindness for their personal gain before just abandoning the fae, cutting him off, forgetting whatever the dragon had done for them since they got what they want. Alf witnessed all of this and wanted it to stop, that was all he could think of, being the person that isn’t really good with intimate things, he was more of the practical type with a ‘trial and error’ method mindset. Akashi blinked and gave that little half-hearted smile of his. “It’s alright bestie you kno-“ “Nope.” Alf cuts Akashi out while folding up that outer-most few flaps that the fae dragon got off from him. “I’ve been pushing you, and it’s not alright. You know this.” Akashi stops, his little smile fading. “Pushing me? Pushing me for.. what?” He asked. The demon’s head tilts to the side while his brows furrow a little with an irritated look slowly surfacing on Alf’s face. “You’ve been hurt, used, backstabbed by a lot of people already. And it’s because.. you’re too fucking kind it’s almost disgusting.” Alf said before letting out a forced little chuckle. “And you’ve slowly been getting less and less bubbly than usual, or even at all. I don’t like it. And you’re meeting new people again.. the process is just repeating itself so.. I.. wanted you to like, grow a pair, uh, stand on your feet.. you know.” He narrated while his hands moved around in circles in front of the large dragon. “Grow a fucking backbone, don’t let people step on you. I can’t dive into your problems to slap your “friends” all the goddamned time. I know it doesn’t really make sense but..” The demon further explains with heightened frustration since he was never really good in expressing himself verbally, but the dragon puts a finger on the demon’s lips. “Shh.. I know bestie.. it’s just that.. this is who I am.” Akashi said. The demon snorted and bared his teeth a little. “Yeah.. I’m at least impressed that you’re slowly cutting off people that are just source of bad vibes in your life. Well, not all of them though.” Alf said and looked off to the side. “Bestie, I’m not gonna cut you off.” Akashi said with a laugh. Alf just laughed along with the dragon before looking back at those golden eyes. His hands slowly rose and undid the inner vest the dragon had and undid the velcro straps, showing that striped underbelly. “I’m such a bad person, no?” He said with a little smile. “So bad that I love you so much.” Akashi responded with a chuckle and a smile. “I’m so sorry for using the wrong method to try and make you stronger, unknowingly adding to your stress by a lot.. again, I’m happy that you’re at least.. well, getting there. You’re getting there alright.” The demon said, his hands sliding down the dragon’s sides till they stayed there, rubbing the dragon’s waist. “I’m so stupid.” The demon added with a laugh. “We’re both stupid. This is why we’re best friends~ We have a lot in common~” The fairy dragon uttered and laid his hands on the demon’s shoulders. The demon slowly tilts his head up more upon feeling that accepting touch with a little grin. “Our whole conversation made no sense whatsoever, huh?” He asked with a chuckle, the dragon looked around and looked back at the demon before he slowly nodded and chuckled. “Yeah..” Akashi responded. Alf just chuckled and leaned in, pressing their bodies against each other “Merry Christmas bestie.” Alf uttered. The dragon pressed in against the fluffy demon, closing those golden eyes of his. “Merry Christmas to you too, bestie.”
