Oh! Well, My first and biggest tip is practise practise practise. Draw as much as you can, everywhere. Draw anything. I know it seems like slow progress but like... if you don't practise you don't get better. Second, I highly suggest learning from life. Study how things look and how they work. I wouldn't say get an anatomy book, though those DO help. Go to life drawing, draw people in cafes, draw classmates, parents, siblings, whoever. Draw them in weird positions and try and understand how things work.
Now... here's a big tip: Don't buy the really expensive things straight away. You don't need the fanciest markers or colour pencils, because they take time to learn how to use and are expensive. Great art can be made using printer paper and a regular HB pencil. If you feel like you want to get the expensive things, go ahead, but they don't magically make your art better, practise does!
