SO... the presentation is over and they confirmed a fistful of games for the console, alongside with showing the retail price and the launch date...
What do i think about? ...now that i waited some time after the hype fog blinded my senses and perception of reality i'm going to start with the good stuff.
FIRST, thank god the boundaries of handheld console and home console is starting to dissolve after the announcement of the so-called NX. Motion controls, and sharing-the-joy gameplay with the Joy-Cons, although the controls are pretty small, the strap bands makes them difficult to lose so they won't escape from your wrist. They say the desicions to make the rumbling more realistic and the better motion controlling are just gimmicks, but this is not the best part about the console; It's the games that are exclusive for that console, for example Super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, TLoZ Breath of the wild (although it's going to be on the WiiU as well), etcétera, that makes it more interesting, maybe those are games you can play when you're playing on a TV, but playing when you are away from it?! DUUUUUUDE.
For the bad side, however, the retail price is gonna be really expensive in my country (Chile) because you know: Imported stuff are always expensive due to the taxes and such... (Even though, 299 is pretty expensive for a Nintendo console), also, the online services are gonna be charged, just like the PS4 and the Xbox ONE... *sighs* anyways, online gaming for Nintendo were pretty shitty if you ask me (never playing online Smash ever again), hope this money is gonna be used for a good reason if it's about improving their online gaming. And now, for a little nitpicking, too many outdated ports for the console... Skyrim for Switch?! Seriously. Didn't we played that on PC (Or other consoles) 5 years ago?! ...Rayman Legends, this is gonna be on that console too... (At least they put "Definitive edition" on it, hope they change ANYTHING to make a difference...)
But well, will i buy that console? On March 3rd?
NOPE. I will wait. Maybe the presentation was really hype-inducing for the most part, but how do i know how the final product would be? I WILL WAIT until they confirm something that'll worth the buy!! (Can't wait to play Mario on NYC and Mexico (If you put a wall, Nintendo, I SWEAR i'm gonna lose it!))
