So I did this as a vent art. I was in a stream with someone and I really want to apologize for giving advice without considering if it was wanted.
I made a constructive critique, it wasn't meant to be implied as hurtful as I explained how it could be remedied.
I don't think critique is rude if it is sincere and constructive. As artists I believe it is our duty to better ourselves and evolve.
I'm not the best artist and I get reminded of that everyday. My views aren't as large as most, but I do get critique a lot from my commissioners and friends.
When I do my pieces I want to do better and not stay stagnant. None of us are above criticism.
But to be honest everytime I go to this stream it seems I either get banned or kicked. As I enjoy the artists' work and would like to get on friendly terms this is another one of the times I've felt kind of singled out.
Not going to put any names cause that isn't fair to do and I would like to protect both parties as I don't want there to begrudge them over this incident. Like my quote. "Your dealer is your dealer. Not your friend."
They are someone I would like to do business with, but the way things are I don't see us becoming besties anytime soon. Maybe someday we can do some collaboration pieces or whatever. To be contined

always make sure to ask if critic is okay first, THEN go for it, or not,i f they dont want it its their loss on a chance of improving.
this is my way of thinking, but you shouldnt worry too much about becoming besties with someone, if you feel like its been hard to aproach, they are probably avoiding you, and its best to stop pushing if thats the case, give them a breather. they may perceive your intent as a chance to freeload and that sort of thing.
me for example, i dont like to conduct any kind of deal with clingy/Superfriendly people. i preffer to keep bussiness as such, which doesnt mean ill be besties with just anyone who commissions me even after many deals x:

also your drawings are cool to look at dude :p i may not be the most active commenter on them but i always watch and at least smile at most of your ideas c: keep it up!

I dunno. I like to think we're friends in our case. We're not like connected by the hip but I do enjoy the conversations we do have.
I don't really have any ulterior motives when making friends with other artists. I've never asked for anything from anyone without anything in return so I'd say I'd never asked anyone for handouts.
I also like your works. I find the quality very impressive. I usually don't comment cause I'm late to the party after I finally check all the subs. I get on and I'm like. I wanna comment on this, but it's already been 3 days. I don't wanna be a scrub.
