Topic - a Whackadoodle Inn Thursday Prompt
So... I sort of allowed myself a bit of a respite and a visit back to the Inn.
By the way... the first song linked - The Rose - was done by a Fur by the name of Kiki McCloud. Believe it or not it just sort of worked out that way. *smiles...
enjoy...

That was a great deal of fun. Listening to all the different tunes as I read really helped put me in the scene. I had to make an exception for 'The Rose,' though. That one is very special to me. Something about the lyrics and especially the way the Devine Miss M sings it goes right to heart of me and leaves me melancholy. The whole scene was relaxing and honest; casual conversation among friends with little bits of personal histories thrown in for extra flavor. I can easily understand how writing things like this could ease your mind. It certainly did mine.
Thanks. *salty hugs*

I play there all the time... it's kind of scary because you can truly get lost in it...

and I love Mark Twain... Wirewolf does seem to have that sort of personality too...
I like to think Mr. Clemons and I rubbed elbows through history. His brother actually lived in my little town in Pennsylvania so it is likely he came for a visit or two. The town also had an opera house so it is possible he might have been featured there.

Music bridges everything, it brings together people of all ages and backgrounds, stirs old memories and inspires us to attempt great things. There's music to match every mood and to soothe every soul. Music is the voice of creation.
Of course, there are exceptions to every rule. If one looks at a list of the different genres of music today, one might conclude that there are more exceptions than rules. LOL
Great story!
