I love to fly in Formation. It shows not only skill but unity amoung the pilots and the crews that fly with them. It takes a lot of skill, trust, and friendship with us. I don't know about you but that Formation to me looks pretty damn good. ^__^

What distances were you spread out at? Hard to get an idea for the scale of the aircraft from the pic, but I'd personally be guessing maybe 500 feet, or around there.

Hard to say even from the air. I'd say we were spaced at around 200-300 ft. Maybe 500ft. And then we'd space out and come in again. They are about 24 ft long.

A P-40 XD, no but seriously within realistic means um, depends on how much of a ridiculous amount you want to spend and what you want it to do. My picks for civil conventional gear:
