Shade is a government experiment designed to be a killing machine, but on one stormy night he became self aware and began to hate the idea of killing innocents. He destroyed the facility, but shortly after healing he would forget what he was and think himself to be human despite some uncanny quirks and capabilities. Sadly he will always be plagued with dreams of what was or what could have been, though he tries his best to live a normal life now. This is his origin story.
