Yes, I know, this is not what I usually do ;) And this is probably not what most people on FA want to see... still.. I thought I'd give speedpainting a try after some time of creativity-lack.
This is one of my first attempts in this area and I'm somehow pleased with the outcome (probably because I didn't expect anything too good) The rain could have been better but when I noticed it was already done (all on one layer, so I was too lazy to repaint it all ;) )
I know, it's sort of.. empty ;) but I didn't plan the scene and it just somehow developed like this. It was so much fun to do, but I don't think I'll change my style now.. though it's always nice to try something new!

That is so beautiful and so gripping in its implied melancholy. I really, really like the almost single-tone coloration you used here as well. This picture just shows so much feeling and emotion. I love it. =^_^=

You are very welcome! I saw, when going through the rest of your gallery, how different a picture this is from your usual style, but I really love it very, very much! It just shows so much feeling and emotion that it's almost tangible, and the beauty of it is, that it can even be different emotions; melancholy or sadness, but also pensiveness, reminiscence, even an unusual kind of happiness =^_^=
