As I tell people that Ayberry is my Changeling character, I've noticed a lot of people immediately think of MLP's version. I wish to dispel such nonsense. Ayberry is not a MLP "Changeling", she is based off of Star Trek: Deep Space 9 Changelings. She is a liquid based shapeshifting lifeform. DS9 came out in 1999, I created Ayberry in 2009, MLP didn't debut their species until 2012. Ayberry came first. I would never associate any of my characters with the mess that has become the MLP fandom.
