According to a third party company that Square has release books of extra information about their games, there are communities of male Viera that only visit the females to breed. As this directly contradicts everything the games have said about Viera (that they're born from the woods directly, are exclusively female, and that the often leave the woods specifically due to curiosity about men), and that this book also makes totally unsubstantiated claims about sub-species of Viera... I'd suggest ignoring it.

Also this is just fanart. Just because its not in the games doesn't mean I can't draw it. lol.
