This is my new worm snake (carphophis amoenus), Shai-hulud, "Shy". You can't really tell in this picture, but he is very tiny. Worm snakes subsist on a diet of mostly worms and soft-bodied insects. I'll be stopping by the bait store to find him some food tomorrow :)
