lots to like about this. Particularly the composition. I assume you are using ableton am i right? What is the sequencing interface like for what ever you are using? Also I love the vocals. I think vocals of this kind are quite under utilized in electronic music.

when you input notes are you only using a keyboard or is there a visual, digital component to your composition? I use FL studio because I bought it before I realized how customizable Live is. I'm afraid that it may just be an expensive child's toy, however it's done almost everything I want it to. Anyway, I'm curious what it's like to program a midi sequence in Live. So far it has seemed to me that the organization of the midi sequencing component to FL studio is it's defining feature but it could be better and i was wondering if it was any better in live.

You can hook up your keyboard to Ableton and use the MIDI that way, but I don't have the cables. :\

Yea, I've seen it before but I was wondering what notable features there are to help you compose. In fl studio you can easily manipulate the notes that you have already programed in. For example you can move them around, copy and paste them, but also reverse them vertically or horizontally, limit the range (good for making quick chord inversions) input entire scales with a click (good for arpeggiators), add rhythms to sustained notes, flam and strum, randomize, ect. ect.

My favorite feature is one that superimposes the midi data from other tracks so that you can see other parts while you are adding or editing notes. However it cannot visually separate the other tracks if you want to consider the differences between two other parts while editing a third.

I was wondering if live does that kind of stuff and how effective the tools are to your work flow.
