Antagonist's Indulgence: Prince Blueblood [C]

Okay, so technically Blueblood isn't really a bad guy (but that's entirely up to your judgement) but we decided to include him in here anyway since, well, he technically IS considered an antagonist by the fandom. So whatever. :P
This was kind of hard to figure out since really no one has drawn muscular feral horses to work from and their muscle structure is confusing and kinda limited (as they have literally no muscle structures beneath their first joints in their legs) so I had to improvise. I hope it looks okay regardless. ^^;

It looks great, don't worry. :D Really wonderful seeing Blueblood getting some love like this. <3
Blueblood is definitely an antagonist, there isn't any question to it. The thing to consider, though, is that the antagonist isn't always bad. The antagonist is just someone who serves as the foil to the protagonist, who can also be either good or bad. Blueblood served as the foil to Rarity, being what upset her about the party. Fluttershy's antagonist in the episode was the flora and fauna, Twilight's was Celestia, etc. Iron Will also serves as an antagonist, but he's very clearly a good person. Blah blah, Blueblood is an antagonist, but he's not bad. :P

Ye, that's always been my thought as well. We never see what happened to Blueblood that led up to how he treated Rarity, so as far as we're aware, his actions could be justified. And honestly? Rarity was absolutely no better than him, expecting him to do everything as well. She was very much a gold digger herself, going after him solely because he was royalty and getting upset when he wasn't using his money to lavish her. It was a really poor message honestly, putting out that if the man you just met isn't doing all the work, then they're wrong.
That's a really good way of looking at it actually, and I agree with you. We just used the "generic" term of the word antagonist for this series though, if only for a chance to get some of the lesser-known characters some more attention.
That again reminds me that Iron Will isn't in this series. Damn, missed a good opportunity there XD
