A chill breeze passed through the dying trees and between crimson stained rocks. The light shining from the clouded heavens this night had a red cast to it. The earth matched the sky, corpses strewn about a lone figure, swords painted in the blood of his fallen foes. He alone had survived this eve, now numb as hazel eyes had drifted into the distance, away from the bodies of his lost comrades. The hordes of Morgoth would not go unpunished for this ambush, the elda would ensure it. The shouts of a small band of uruks reached his pointed ears. It seemed he would find no rest tonight.
A gorgeous painting I commissioned from Banniart! It's so amazingly detailed. The full resolution version is astounding! I am so very happy with how this turned out! Just decided something so beautiful deserved a little snippet. A hint at "Elliot's" history.
