Day 31: Pokémon Memory

Very, veeeery late, but better late than never haha. :‘3c This drawing took a while because I’ve been kinda busy, but with this one, I’m officially done with every Pokécember prompt! òvo9 Even if I’m late, it’s a feat for me to have gotten this far without giving up!

The theme was very broad so I had to think for a while what to draw. I have many, many memories regarding Pokémon, those years spent playing, in game happenings. The times I got lucky (that one time I found an shiny Onix at Union Cave on Silver!!! oAo), the times I struggled to get something (catching my Ritsu took almost a whole day on Sapphire because of Feebas’s encounter rate…); the times I traded and battled with friends, the times I won and the times I lost too.

It’s been 17 years filled with fun thanks to this franchise. ❤

So as memory, I chose to draw a photo of me and my party from Pokémon Moon! Alola made its way into my heart and became very special to me. My favorite region is Hoenn and will forever be, but Alola did get very close to Hoenn for me in feeling; I even think it gave me the same feeling.
It was the first game I owned on which I bought everything with my own money, after so many years playing stuff at emulators. It was something I achieved so it felt dear to me. For the first time ever I have people close to me to play and have fun. I’d go on and on about this but stuff would get too personal haha…
Alola felt great. And I’m thankful for all the memories, everything. Thank you everyone, thank you Pokémon. ❤
