The Academy is on a peninsula which juts out into the lake (the lake being ringed by a park several kilometers wide). The architecture on campus is somewhat older. One has to understand that the academy system here is more than a tertiary education, but rather the government's clearing house for information and knowledge; one essentially comes and goes for more than education. Put simpler, the academy is the keeper of standards of practice and methods for the exchange of knowledge. The fox on the right is my early fox fursona.
