Hello everyone!
Well, The Katbox is still down so i will be posting the comic on Patreon for the time being. Sorry about that issue but we are taking a bit longer than what we thought.
Also this is an interesting page for me. Pretty much based on personal experiences here based on my earlier years. Back in my hometown i was the target of several bullies from kindergarden and all the way to the end of high school. As i lived in a small town, there was no escaping it. Even got to the cartoony point where one of my bullies moved to the house next to mine.
I am pretty much thorn between Ron and Marianne personally. I still hold a grudge and i know i will always keep a part of it for the rest of my life. And yet people can change. I noticed that on my own, one of my bullies sort of apologized to me at the end of high school and when we interact together he has been... normal and quite open about the whole thing. On the other hand, the other bully is still a dick and will always say shit even in an underhanded way.
Here is the thing, the first one was bullied me for the longest time, but i could sort of emphatize with him due to his situation, single mother, very low income, etc. The second one only started being an ass at a later date but was more vicious and sleazy about his way of doing things. He was also well stablished in his life and family. So he really had no reason or way for me to understand why he did what he did.
So yeah, on a personal level i think both characters are right here. Some people do change for the best, others are just ... well The Simpsons really gave a good gag for it in the episode where Bart won an elephant: "And, like people, some animals are just jerks. Stop that, Mr. Simpson."

Its cool lol.Lets just say I met more than a few jerks when I was a kid and for the most part they eventually grew out of it.The irony of this comic page is Rons showing hes definately not grown since his years of being bullied and seems to expect that the bully is just the same,Perhaps im being unfair but thats what I take from this.
Chances are you never will get an apology either,Noone sees themselves as the villain of their own story so most of the time even if the bullys finally grew up and changed for the better they dont feel all that compelled to seek out those they abused to try to make amends.
I used to be quite big on grudges when I was a teen but these days when i meet former tormentors the most it adds upto is me commenting that the now much nicer person used to be such a shitbag when they were a kid and if im feeling bitchy asking if they had therapy =).

I know how's it was for you in the school. I had to change 3 schools, just to get bullies off my back.
Alas, the bullies are all the same, no matter how much schools you change, everytime somebody will want to make themselves look cool and mighty on your expense.
I grew a thicker skin and managed to cool down my temper, so those stupid heads won't get to me. It worked.
