Detailed-painting commission for
azimuth. Definitely my favourite piece out of everything I've worked on recently - mustelid characters, pretty colours, and random glowy things, what's not to love? ;D
azimuth. Definitely my favourite piece out of everything I've worked on recently - mustelid characters, pretty colours, and random glowy things, what's not to love? ;D Ferret and Nall, two magical familiars, take a break to go climb a tree where they can get a view of the sun setting over their fantasy forest world. Everything is still wet and sparkling from the afternoon's rain, with that wonderful fresh-rain smell saturating the forest canopy.
Working on the fantasy landscape in the background was a new challenge for me (something I'm aware, as a fantasy artist, I should be ashamed of :P); the first few hours were nothing but terror and "oh god I have no idea what I'm doing why did I agree to this", but much to my relief I actually ended up with something I'm really proud of - and I even found myself having fun painting that magic tree-city, once I got over my fear XD
Anyway, thanks again
 azimuth, enjoy the shinies! :3
