Feeling Apahetic and depressed
This is how I'm feeling right now... Like, I did started to like and enjoy drawing stuff and improving my art just to get more people seeing them and possibly commission me, but as months go by, I feel like I'm getting nowhere at all.
I rarely get any watchers at all. It's nice getting comments and faves from other people, but it's not the same. I take hours and sometimes days and sometimes weeks just to finish a pic. Whenever at streams I always go to, I do try to fit in well with others, but I always tend to be ignored sometimes. And when I link a new pic I did to them with permission, I get no feedback, thus, getting the silent treatment. Sometimes I only get 1 or 2 feedback.
I know that fetishes and mature/adult stuff tend to get more views depending on the details and popularity, but I still have a long way to go if I want to improve. I don't know if I want to stop doing art and just move on with my miserable life. I don't feel like myself anymore...

Hey Now, If You Want To Do Art That Is On You, No One Is Demanding You Do Art Where As Some People Are Forced To Do Weird Art That They Don't Want To Draw But Need To, To Eat And Pay Rent. You Shouldn't Force That Upon Yourself, Drawing Should Be A Fun Hobby And You Should Do It For Yourself First And Just Keep Striving To Be Better, If Not, Then It's Not Your Thing And You'll Find What Is Your Thing. Don't Strain Yourself Just To Fit In, Have Fun And Enjoy Your Own Art First, Not Everyone Is Out To Please Others Or Go Against You. People Are Mainly Out For Themselves And Do Their Own Thing. If You Want To Draw, Then Draw, Meet People, Befriend People, Start Making A Name For Yourself And Just Enjoy Yourself, If Others Want To Enjoy Themselves By What You Do, Then Keep Doing It And Make Them Happy, Don't Stress Yourself. Just Enjoy
It's okay to feel that way, it's normal. I feel that way sometimes, especially on streams when everyone is talking and having a good time yet every time you speak you get ignored.
Needless to say, don't give up on your art, I think you're doing well with it. Hell I might even commission you one or two of my girls. In terms of the gift giving, you might have to start being selective with those who you want to make gifts for if you don't like the silent treatment. I know that would make me upset.

I've been there, the difference is that I just stayed quiet and talked about it with others, just kept trying and trying. Later the only way that I managed to move forward is making friends with artists that were on the same level as I was, if not a little higher. I made friends with artists that did a little better than me, a friend knew a few of them and introduced me to them and that's how I started to interact and improve. You're not alone, you must keep trying and be friends with other artists, to eventually be noticed by the ones you look up to.
You may start low , but if you interact and be friends with people that have the same liking's as you have, and work together , you'll grow , and be better.
Who knows, maybe do work together.

...You are right. I did make friends with artists who I know, but the only thing I need to do is just...well, work hard And make even more friends. I just needed help from all of this, and you and the others have been helping me about it. Especially you the most. I never thought you made those pics back in 2009.
Hopefully I'll do more art and work hard to get to you know who. He's open for trades, but I'm scared to ask him. Also, I don't think he would do one with me anymore anyway. But I digress, thanks so much for the speech and showing me your old pics back in the day. That will help me alot to get back to what I'm doing. *Offers a hug*
