Jared was a good friend of mine, but sadly, his parents treated him like crap so much that he lived with his grandparents, and that wasn't making the situation any better for how he was treated there as well. Fall 2005 he had a fight with his grandmother and then ended it all by shooting himself in the head. Sadly, he missed and died in the hospital, suffering the entire time. I made a character just after to remember him by because he was one of the only kids in my class who was decent to me throughout the years (typical boys are generally dicks to everyone for a while). He was 15 at the time, just like me.
True story.

You'll see more of this character around sometime this year.

Ironically, his grandma is best friends with my husband's grandmother, so we usually see her at every family gathering. She's nice, but has her moments. Not exactly the brightest in the bunch either. I guess that fits in with grams though because she's rude to people on average (she was even rude to her daughter's husband when she died- i mean come on that was her daughter and his wife, wtf did she have to be a bitch about it for I have no idea)
