Derge didn't like the cold. Or the snow.
At all.
Coming from the barren, desert planet of Vyrinian, the short and lanky Vyroon was often ill-suited for anything covered in snow.
But this would be worth it.
The High District of Melladonna lived up to its name in more ways than one. It was high in altitude, and high in status. Only the rich and wealthy lived in this district.
Derge's favorite kind of people.
The lofty rooftops, balconies, and awnings, though not as easy to climb when covered in ice, made for perfect vantage points to spy on potential victims. When you're living this high, why bother looking up? The people here were so oblivious to their surroundings, coddled for the majority of their lives, they didn't think they had to worry about a thing. They hadn't met someone like Derge before. Most hardly noticed that they had been pick-pocketed, and those that did had no idea what to do, considering it had never happened before. Either reaction amused Derge greatly. Clueless. In his mind he almost felt like he was doing them a favor by relieving them of their money. The night wore on and Derge was already filling his satchel quite nicely with various coin and other valuables. It was almost too easy.
He wasn't done yet though. If he was going to suffer through the cold, he was going to make it worth it. He needed more. But who would be next? A surprising amount of people were still out and about at this hour, not that Derge was complaining. That just meant that he had options.
So many options...

Sorry, but holy crap I love this so much. I pitched this scene idea to Skulldog and she nailed it so freaking hard, I'm so happy. Love the angle, love the setting, love all the details, heck I even love the fact that she gave Derge such a low cut that you can see the scars on his back. XD That's so cool! Not to mention the background for this scene is absolutely amazing, oh my gosh. It was an awesome pleasure to see this come to life, and I may or may not be using this as my desktop background now. XD Absolutely love how this turned out, love Skulldog's work so much. :3 Super happy I requested this!
