*I'm heading for the usual spot at the river to meet up with a friend. With my earphones in, I guess I didn't realize someone had been following me the whole way. When I reached the promised meeting spot I switched my music off.*
Kouya: Hey.
K9: GAH!! *jolts forward*
Kouya: Hahahaha, surprised ya huh?
K9: Jeez I almost dropped my phone! *chuckles* Huh? ... Is that, the guitar from the other day?
Kouya: Course it is. You seemed to love the acoustic that night.
K9: I... guess I do. *blushes slightly*
Kouya: Come on, let's have a seat.
*The two of us have a seat in the grass and listen to the river flow by*
K9: ... what a memorable summer. *smiles peacefully*
Kouya: ... ... ... Yeah, it's... pretty much over now.
K9: That's right... It is. But... It's not like I want it to end. I've enjoyed this one month so much.
Kouya: Well it's not like you won't be back, right?
K9: It still just makes me sad to think of it this way. *looks down*
Kouya: Hey, K9. I wanted to give you something.
*Kouya reaches into his pocket and pulls out his fist. Something is clenched in the palm of his hand.*
K9: What is it?
Kouya: Close your eyes and hold out your hand.
K9: Uh... alright.
*I do as instructed and feel something metal drop into my hand, something like a chain with a charm attached to it. Opening my eyes I realize what it is and simply stare at it.*
Kouya: ... Well?
K9: ... It's a... dog tag, with-
Kouya: "We are forever with" engraved on it.
K9: ... K-... Kouya... *a tear slips down my cheek* I...
*Kouya simply opens up the case he had with him and pulls out his guitar*
Kouya: How about a song?
K9: ... Um... That one from the concert. Please.
Kouya: Alright, special request.
It has been so long~ Since we last met like this~ You and I, our paths have crossed once-again, with the time we have~
Kouya and I: Let's make more me-mor-ies to fill the pro-mise from so-long a-go~
