Random Stardew Valley fanart I finished a while back. My character as portrayed by Maraschino (sans wings) and in-game hubby Shane. He's a bit rough around the edges but that doesn't stop her from loving him anyway. ♥
The quote has been sitting in a folder on my desktop for ages. Its just something I found on Facebook a long time ago that I thought would fit nicely with a picture someday, so I kept it.
For those who don't know, Stardew Valley has been my obsession since last spring. If you ever want to get me talking, bring this game into the conversation. I promise you I won't shut up. lol
Just putting this in scraps for now, might move it to the main gallery later.

Seb was the first character that popped out to me - I thought his portrait was cute, then I read his profile and was like "Oh hey, he's an introvert just like me", and as I played I pretty much realized every single thing he said that makes most people think he's "the broody emo guy" was just him acting like an introvert, and it all made perfect sense to me. All family problems aside, that is. He's got stepdad issues obviously but that's kind of par for the course, been through that myself so I can relate there too. >u<
I think aside from him, Leah is the most relateable to me, but that's mostly on the whole "artistic chick who loves nature" front. If I ever decide to go for one of the bachelorettes I'd definitely pick her.

This is the same for me tbh.. Seb because he's the introvert and "nerdy type" Shane because of his internal problems, and Abby because of her adventurous side, and Leah because she's artistic and has an affinity for nature. Penny I also relate to because of the situation she lives in.

Ehh, less Minecraft, more Harvest Moon meets Animal Crossing. It's not quite as open-ended as Minecraft, you are given some parameters to work within that are the same from one game to the next, but you still get to make choices and decide which direction your farm goes. If you ever played the very first Harvest Moon, it's basically that, but like, 100X better.
