My chair broke.
I bought this chair at a yard sale probably 20 years ago for probably one dollar. Maybe I found it in the trash. I can't remember.
It looks like it was made in the 60's.
There is a lot of history in this chair.
My ass and this chair have spent a lot of time together.
I was sitting in this chair when I went to my first furry website.
EVERY fursuit body I have sewn on my sewing machine I was sitting in this chair.
EVERY video I have edited I was sitting in this chair.
The first time I went on ebay I was sitting in this chair.
I made a lot of friends in this chair.
I drank a lot of coffee in this chair. I drank a lot of beer in this chair.
I have had good times in this chair.
Thank you chair. I will miss you.

Well sir, that chair is definitely broken. Now I take it from those straps on the lower two tubes on the seat support that you don't know welding yourself. That's okay. If you can hammer those legs back where they're supposed to be and get the seat off. and if there's a welder's shop nearby, they could weld pieces of pipe angle-wise between the seat support and those weakened legs for extra strength, maybe one between the legs to stabilize them. The whole thing would be better and stronger than new. I'd sure suggest replacing the rubber end caps, though, so it doesn't scrape your floor up.
But it would probably be cheaper to go the Sally Ann and get a "new" one. Do what you think is best.
