We sort of inherited a dog a couple of weeks ago. It was unexpected, but she needed a home and given the circumstances, spontaneous puppy adoption happened. It's been sort of hectic, which is part of the reason why I decided to take headshot requests and then suddenly disappeared. She came along maybe a day or so after.
The other reason, which is less adorable, is that I have a chronic illness that I've been trying to fight off. It's nothing that should be life threatening, but it causes serious chronic fatigue, depression, anxiety, inability to focus and concentrate, etc. It's gotten worse lately, which wasn't anything I could predict when I decided to take requests. I'm working to try to adjust things in my life to see if I can get it to calm down (it's an auto-immune disorder) since I can't get in to see a specialist for a couple more months, but until then headshots will probably be put on hold. I still want to finish them, I'm just too tired all of the time, and when I have a little energy I'm trying to use it to keep peace between my cat and the new puppy.
I am sorry about this and about not really updating on this sooner, but things have just been wild and my anxiety makes it difficult to want to type up things like this. I hope everyone understands, and that you all have a nice day and enjoy the picture of the pupper.
