Dragon head I modeled in 10 minutes with my new Vive...
Can't wait for the VR modeling programs to mature, I might actually pick up 3D work again.
Better get cracking on commissions, need to bring in the money for this baby. XD

It's not uncomfortable to wear, I had no trouble and I already spent HOURS jumping around like an imbecile. That said, it IS a large box strapped to your head, so some inconvenience is expected. Especially if you also wear big headphones. Probably going to switch to earbuds, heh. You'll sweat a little, especially if you play stuff that is requiring lots of movement, so you'll occasionally have to clumsily try to wipe your face occasionally, but that's it.
I knew from the get go that I had to pay attention to the cable, and I've so far not tripped over it. Also, you can use the internal camera to always show you a edge enhanced image of your surroundings projected on top of the scene, so you can see the cable if you enable that. The camera supposedly can interfere with tracking, but I couldn't tell a difference, always tracking perfectly.
That is, after I covered all large mirrors and other reflective surfaces, at first I thought my unit was defective cause it would not properly track, but apparently reflective surfaces can cause trouble. Now it works flawlessly. :D
For me it's the best 800€ I spent in a while. (It actually costs 900€ here, which is like 950$ USD. Europeans always get buttraped with tech stuff. :P I got it cheaper cause it was a returned unit.)
Might even loose weight with this, I'm a couch potato and this is actually fun. :P
