I attempted to see if I could capture the light from the burning candle on wet plate.
You could clearly see the flame before the plate dried, I had hoped that it would be visible again after varnishing but no such luck.

Cell phone pic, I really need to get my scanner working again. All that swirly crap on the left side is reflection while I was photographing the plate.
