Shirley Torakhan lost a foot in an "industrial accident" during a visit to one of their factory. Everyone suspected that their sibling was actually behind it.

Several months later their sibling and sibling-in-law died in a... uh... gruesome sausage accident. We all know it was a revenge, but there's nothing linking the accident back to Shirley, the same way no one can link the accident that cost their leg back to their sibling. Anyway, their sibling left behind a child, Sandy. Shirley adopted younger tiger as their own.

With their sibling dead, Shirley inherited Torakhan Heavy Industry from their mother. Sandy will probably inherit the company after them.
