Yeah, this is pretty much me when i get my tools that make the opponent shit themselves, i threw a bomb at a Bayonetta off stage and they killed themselves, MIND GAMES!!!

she's difficult to learn but once you do she's super fun :)

She's not difficult just technical, Zelda is a hard character to play because she's not very good and she doesn't succeed at anything, same with Palutena although i think Zelda is way better than Palutena.

well in terms of the competive scene palutena places higher in general (Prince Ramen) and her throw combos are guaranteed at like any percent but it can take a while to kill with her sometimes.

I don't get why, just because a character can grab doesn't make it good, guarantee you if throw techs were a thing Palutena would just be that part of the character select screen that is covered in dust.

There's always gonna be someone playing a character no matter how "bad" they are. Grabs are an essential part of smash, the can easily make a trash tier character into like a mid tier

That's kind of the reason why i can't take Smash seriously in terms of a competitive game, grabs are too good and there are no drawbacks to grabbing and again you can't tech them, there's no rock, paper, scissor element to it that so many other competitive games have.

well not every game needs a rock paper scissors kind of element to it. I think Smash is fine just the way it is. It also kind of has a rock paper scissors kind of feel with not being able to grab while in the air (most of the time) plus there's always the option to air-dodge or spot-dodge, which many other fighting games don't have. I mean opinions are opinions, but simply not believing that a game is not competitive just because it isn't similar to other competitive games is a bit closed-minded of you ^^

Sure you can't grab in the air but even games like Street Fighter that have air throws can be teched out of. Plus jumping in Smash is about as unsafe as jumping in Street Fighter but more so because there are no cross ups and blocking in Smash is super safe because despite having a temporary shield you can punish just about anything, especially if you perfect shield.
